Pizza Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 (15-oz) already rolled out bakery pizza dough
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 lb ground sweet Italian sausage
- 1 cup chopped pepperoni
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 tbsp Contadina® tomato paste
- 1 (8-oz) can Contadina® tomato sauce
- 2 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup miniature pepperoni
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Roll dough into an 18-inch round on a lightly floured surface. Brush with oil and sprinkle with seasoning. Cut dough into 2-inch pieces and place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, cook sausage, pepperoni, and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbly. Add tomato paste; cook, stirring, 2 minutes. Add tomato sauce and cream cheese, stirring until blended. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Spoon mixture into a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with mini pepperoni. Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serve with pizza crust dippers.
